Put Synchronize with Central behind a visible, manager-friendly queue. Sync Sentry shows who is active, who is next, who is idle, what was requested, and what happened — without turning daily syncing into guesswork.
Sync Sentry combines a shared Project Users table, a queue turn system, right-click actions, widget mode, Queue Manager controls, Admin-only reset tools, and exportable activity history into one Revit-aware console.
The table stretches with the console and uses four columns: # for queue position, User, Status, and Request. Follow Queue places the user to the queue after the selected user queues up.
Status can show Revit-document idle after 5 minutes, sync progress as text, paused users, current turn, and blocked Revit dialog conditions without relying on general Windows mouse activity.
All users can follow rows or send queue requests. Queue Managers can add, remove, pause, unpause, force sync, and reorder. Admins can assign Queue Managers and run recovery actions.
Open a small widget view for quick monitoring while keeping Revit screen space available. Widget mode preserves project users, queue state, row styling, and theme-aware headers.
Refresh is available to all users. Queue Managers and Admins can Repair Queue, Clean Queue, and Reset. SHIFT+Reset is Admin-only hard recovery that exports history before cleaning current-model Sync Sentry files.
Join Queue, Sync, Auto-Queue, and shared-file context actions are guarded so repeated clicks do not stack writes or burn Personal mode join counts before a successful queue write.
Each console view focuses on a different part of team coordination: see the live Project Users, act on the selected user, or open Manage for queue and recovery tools.

See who is connected to the current model, each user's queue position, working or idle status, sync progress, and active request state.

Select a user to access role-aware actions such as Follow Queue, Queue Request, add or remove from the queue, pause or unpause, and Force Sync when permitted.

Queue Managers and Admins use Manage for Repair Queue, Clean Queue, Reset, exports, and permission-based recovery controls.
Options holds personal sync behavior. Manage holds queue maintenance and exports. The panel opens expanded at launch, then collapses after load.
The primary table stretches to the console width, keeps the # column fixed, and splits the remaining width across User, Status, and Request.
Current state, sync records, action records, and user history stay reviewable for support and recovery.
| Role | Actions | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| All Users | Follow Queue Once, Follow Queue Always, Unfollow, Queue Request, Join/Leave Queue, Pause/Unpause Me, Request Relinquish. | Lets every user coordinate turns and request attention without queue-management rights. |
| Queue Managers | Add to Queue, Force Sync, Remove from Queue, Pause Queue, Unpause Queue, drag reorder, Repair Queue, Clean Queue, Reset, and exports. | Keeps the queue usable during busy production sync windows while protecting the active sync turn. |
| Admin | Add Queue Manager, Remove Queue Manager, Force Close Dialog, Force Launch Project from User History, and SHIFT+Click Reset hard recovery. | Controls who can manage the queue and gives the assigned Admin recovery tools when a workstation or shared file state is blocking progress. |
| Widget Mode | Compact monitoring view with theme-aware rows, follow styling, and queue status. | Keeps the queue visible without occupying the full console footprint. |
